Maintains communication and coordination between ministries during emergencies, ensuring information flows and coordination happens across the entire emergency management system.

Provides overall coordination of the Moral & Spiritual Ministry and serves as the primary liaison between the Ministry, the Student Minister, Weather Watchmen leadership, and the other emergency preparedness Ministries.

Coordinates appropriate prayer and spiritual support for individuals, families, volunteers, responders, and communities experiencing emergencies, displacement, loss, grief, or other difficult circumstances.

Serves as an assistant and support function to the Student Minister within the Moral & Spiritual Ministry, helping coordinate appropriate Dianetics-related support, education, referrals, and activities under the direction of the Student Minister. This role operates under the direction of the Student Minister and does not independently replace licensed medical, psychiatric, psychological, or emergency mental-health care.

Provides compassionate, non-clinical emotional support to community members experiencing stress, uncertainty, displacement, grief, or other difficulties associated with emergencies.

Helps connect individuals and families with appropriate licensed mental-health professionals, crisis services, community programs, and other qualified resources when needs extend beyond the scope of Weather Watchmen volunteers. This position is primarily a resource coordination and referral role, not an independent clinical treatment role unless the person serving holds appropriate professional credentials.

Coordinates compassionate support for individuals and families experiencing death, significant loss, displacement, or other major losses resulting from disasters and emergencies.

Helps families navigate the emotional, spiritual, and practical challenges that can occur when normal family and community structures are disrupted.

Supports the well-being of the volunteers and community servants who may be working extended hours or experiencing emotionally difficult circumstances during emergency operations. Those who serve the community also need support.

Provides additional compassionate and spiritual support to seniors, individuals living alone, people with disabilities, caregivers, and other vulnerable community members during emergencies. This role works closely with Health & Human Services and other appropriate Ministries.
